Wow, all I can think of is that check on the bottom right as to whether you may have a Keyword/Info button (I do) that turns that panel on and off. Try turning full screen F11 on and off?

Try going into Edit-Preferences-Keyword Tags and restore default settings.

Finally I seem to recall that one time someone had issues with what appeared on the right side of the screen due to Nvidia video drivers and either an older one or a newer one fixed it.

Thank you cz35895897' Your mention of the Nvidia video drivers was golden. I found that there is an issue with some graphic cards / drivers and Photoshop Elements Organizer. That was my problem. My computer has two video cards. The solution was to disable the graphics card. Now everything works. But I have to enable the graphics card when it is needed.

Looks like Adobe should resolve this incompatibility as it must not be a rare problem.

Hi,

Currently, there is no direct way to do that.

That being said, smart tags always remain in your catalog like keyword tags and you can use them anytime from search panel.

Is there any specify thing for which you need to convert smart tags to keyword tags? Please let me know your use case, so that i can suggest you possible workarounds, if any.

Thanks.

See my reply to CZ35895897. The older Advanced Search on the Find menu uses Keywords but not Smart Tags so I thought a conversion might be a way around the problem I'm  having with trying to use the output of the "Enhanced Search."

Not automatically, but I do this often manually. I call up a smart tag, go into grid view, delete photos that have the "incorrect" smart tag, mark all that remain and assign them a new manual tag.

I attempted to do what you suggested but ran into problems. First I clicked on search in the upper left of the organizer screen. (In the red oval below.)

Then I picked one person from the people menu as shown below, and clicked on the grid button (In the red oval.)

This resulted in the screen shown below which was a dead end for me.

The red arrow points to where I wish the Keyword Tags Panel would be, but it isn't there. I can't find a way around it. When I use the Enhanced Search I have found no way to make direct use of the Information gained in the search. This is frustrating as the search is power full, but is almost worthless since the results can't be used.
