Large Library

Is there a limit to the size if the photo library?  I recently purchased PS Elements 2018 and used Organizer to catalog my photos. Everything is very slow.

I have in in excess of 45,000 photos, almost all are RAW (CR2) files.

Its been several days and Organizer is still “Analyzing faces”, it’s at 56%.
