I did everything. Even run as administrator. The damn thing just doesn't work. I've spent 3 days trying to get this turd to work. I shouldn't have to do this. I love my Photoshop Elements 15 (which runs beautifully and installed without incident), but this Photoshop Elements 2018 is a giant box of crap. From my POV, I shouldn't have to have a degree in computer science to make it work. I have been with your support chat, and he couldn't make it work. This program is crap.

I've put in a request for an Adobe Staff Member to look at this thread in hopes that they may be able to help you.

I did get a response back from your "Senior" guy. He told me to come back to the forums...

I've spent way too much time on this fire drill. I've taken the advice, it doesn't work.

I've contacted thru chat and given a run down, that doesn't work.

Your Senior help was no help.

I've used Adobe products for years. I've always had a high opinion of them.

This product flat out DOES NOT WORK.

I will not be upgrading, and can't recommend with any good certainty this version to others.

I think Adobe has some work to do on this. This time, you have failed me.

Initially, I was able to open Photoshop Elements 2018.  After restarting my computer, I couldn't get it to load again.  I did go into the "properties" settings and designated the setting to run as administrator.  I did try using the menu, by right clicking and choosing, "run as administrator", but when I later went into "properties", I saw that the shortcut did not make the change.

I couldn't make it work, after designating "run as administrator", so I uninstalled the software and reinstalled it.  Interestingly, this time it defaulted to the setting of "run as administrator", without me changing any settings.  I got the program to open, closed it, restarted my computer and got it to open again.  Hopefully it holds as a fix,

I downloaded the latest Windows Update hoping it might fix this. It didn't.

What is this problem?? I can't say I'm overly impressed with Photoshop Elements 2018 right now. It flat out does not work.
