I have created an action in Photoshop CC and want to load it into the Actions Panel in Photoshop Elements 2020.  I have done this in previous versions but can't do it here.  Help!

That's because apple hides the users folders.

Microsoft does the same as well.

To see your user Library, in the Finder Go menu press the Option key and then you should see Library listed on the Go menu.

What operating system are you using?

Look in one of the following locations for your saved action:

Mac

/Users/UserName/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop (version) /Presets/Actions

Windows

Users/[user name]/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop [version]/Presets/Actions

I am on a MacBook Air using OS 10.13.6

in My users part of the operating system I can't find the Library folder.  I even searched for it and it didn't appear.  I'll attach a screenshot of what I found there.

Thanks for helping me work this out

In Photoshop CC, you have to save an action as part of a Set.  See this discussion

And also be aware that some actions will not work in Elements.

I did put the action into a new set and saved the set.  While it shows it going into the Actions folder under presets, when I go there to load it into Elements Actions it isn't there

An addition to my question.  After I follow directions for saving a new action within Photoshop CC, I can't locate it in the action folder within the presets folder in Photoshop so I have no way to load it into Elements.

Make sure you have the Actions panel enabled under the Window menu:
