Must alwasy re-enter serial number

Recently I had to do a clean install of Windows 10.  Ever since then when I access Elements 10 I must enter my serial number.  Did not need to do this before.  Did I make a mistake when I re-installed Elements 10 after the Windows 10 clean install?
