New Photoshop 2018

Hi,  I currently have PSE 10 & just purchased PSE 2018.  Will my photos, photo edits, tags, sub-tags, etc. transfer to PSE 2018 from PSE 10 or do I have to start from scratch?  When I uninstall PSE 10, do I lose all the photos?  Should I install PSE 2018 & then uninstall PSE 10 or do the reverse? Please bear in mind that I suffer from a large degree of computer illiteracy.  Thanks for any advice given!
