Photoshop Elements 8 nearest neighbor preferences?

In regular photoshop the preferences allows you to change the scaling form to nearest neighbor instead of bicubic which is more useful for pixel art, but when I go to the preferences box in photoshop elements 8 there's no option there. Is there any way that I can change the scale type preference as it's easier than trying to change through the image size menu.
