Pre cloud Adobe (eg serial number only)

Hello,

I am of course aware that Adobe are now cloud based and that CS6 seems to have been the last standalone software, but is Elements also online dependent ?

What were the last version of Elements (Premiere or Photoshop) which were standalone, like serial number only, or maybe acivate once and move machines as legal owner sees fit ? Many thanks.

Amazon UK often take over one month to ship the disk version although you do get disks for PC & Mac. The email activation code is probably the quickest method if you are happy with a single platform e.g. PC or Mac.

Photoshop/Premiere Elements are not part of the Cloud, and still use a serial number

Thank you very much, that was so quick, and fantastic to know. I went to Amazon.co.uk and saw "PC Activation Code by Email" which confused me. Presumably the code just links it to my Adobe account, then it is all okay from there.

“PC Activation Code by Email“ means they will not ship a disc to you.

You download the software and enter the serial number that they email to you. The serial number will then be linked to your Adobe ID and will be shown when you sign in to your Adobe account.
