Question

Problems with programme transfer from MacBook to iMac

I purchased adobe photoshop and premiere elements 14 Sept 25 2015

They were both downloaded and used on my Mac book pro

The are both identified as for use on Multiple Platforms

I have recently purchased an iMac and used time machine to copy over all my programmes and documents from the MacBook to the imac

Both programmes continue to run on my MacBook Pro

Both programmes offer a free 30 day trial however they expect repeat payment to continue to use them

I do not think that this should be the case so

How do i get the programmes to run on the iMac?

Hi,

You can install PSE on maximum two machines per licence. If you intend to use software on the other machine then please install them using adobe installation file which you had used previously.

If you do not want to use software on your old machine then I would suggest you sign out from PSE on your old machine.

For logging out, first, open PSE Editor. Then from the Help menu, select sign-out.

Please revert if you have more queries.

Thanks,

Ankit

You can not transfer Adobe programs with Time Machine and expect them to work properly. You need to do a clean install.

After you do a proper install, you can enter your serial number.
