PS 19 Photomerging crashing

My photoshop 2018 was crashing when doing photomerging.

I thought that if I upgraded to PS 2019 it would solve the problem.

It made things worse.

Slow and crashing more often.

I wrote this on the Forum page and one reply said that I might be using 4GB ram.

Yep he was right, I upgraded to 8 GB and have already upgraded the hard drive.

I think that Microsoft has install an update and changed a setting.

Has anyone else had issues lately?
