PS 2018 kann Photos aus WhatsApp von iPhone nicht öffnen

Es kommt die Fehlermeldung: Der Vorgang konnte nicht ausgeführt werden, weil ein SOFn, DQT- oder DHT-JPEG-Marker vor einem JPEG-SOS-Marker fehlt.

Wie kann das behoben werden?

Try copying the files to a folder on your computer.

On Mac you could do this via Image Capture

On Windows connect your phone via USB and authorise the connection on the phone; then drag pictures to a folder.

I have the same problem with pictures from WhatsApp on Android since approx Nov 15th 2018 in PSE 2018.

Transfer is done via GooglePhoto and syncing.

Copying pictures via USB does not help, neither does transfer via email.

Only (unacceptable) solution I found so far: modify picture in e.g. windows photo app.

Problem is present in older versions (PSE13) as well as in PSE2018 and also in current version PSE2019.

Current version of Lightroom Classic CC doesn't have that problem any more.

Adobe: please solve that problem asap!!
