PSE 10 can't read CR2 files from Canon 6D

I am trying to figure out how to get the CR2 RAW files to open in PSE 10 on a macbook pro. It seems I am currently working with Camera Raw Plug-in version 6.4.1.145. Do I need to update this and if so how do I do that? Thanks

Unfortunately, camera raw 6.7 is the newest plugin pse 10 can use and the canon 6D requires at least camera raw 7.3.

You can use the adobe dng converter 9.9 to convert the cr2s to dng copies which then pse 10 should open.

I have the same problem with my Canon EOS 80D using PSE 10 on Windows 10: it cannot open CR2-files. How do I come around this?

You can use the adobe dng converter 9.9 to convert the cr2s to dng copies which then pse 10 should open.
