PSE 12 not saving to TIFF and JPEG

Suddenly my PSE 12, dispite following normal protocol,  will not save my files to JPEG or TIFF and I can't figure out the problem.  I'm suspecting a reload of the program might work but don't know how to get to that menu.  Any other suggestions will be of a great help.

When you try to save do you get an error message?

Are you going to File>Save as>
