PSE 15 Scratch disk is full/How to find & delete duplicate images

I recently upgraded from 14 to 15.  Only now in 15 does this scratch disk business come up! I was never aware of it in 14.  I use 100's of images doing 25+ scrapbook layouts per day. I get totally stuck on a layout when the scrap disk full error comes up.  I don't know what to do or where to go.. I have read the information on it but it is way over my head.  Also I know it would help to delete duplicate images.  How do I find them and how do I delete them?

Hi,

Please see Photoshop Elements scratch disks, plug‑ins, and application updates for information on scratch disk and why you're getting this error.

it would help to delete duplicate images.  How do I find them and how do I delete them?

To remove duplicates from your computer, you can import all the media from your hard disk into Elements Organizer. See Import media from files and folders in Elements Organizer .

And then use Find menu > By Visual Searches > Duplicate photos to identify the duplicates. See Elements Organizer Help | Search options to find media

Please make sure to check Also delete selected items from hard disk option while deleting if you want to permanently delete that content.

Please try this and let me know in case you've any queries.

Thanks,

Arshla
