PSE 15: Thumbnails no longer being generated

The photos I import since January 1st ... they import, I see the thumbnails in Windows but all I see in my catalog is hourglass.  If I double-click the hour glass ... the photo will come up ... but no thumbnail is ever generated.

    Hi,

    Do you see no thumbnails at all?

    What is the number of photos that you have imported? For large number of images, thumbnail generation takes some time as there is media analysis going on in the background for Smart Tags and People Recognition. Media analysis is a one-time process.

    If you see a spinner at bottom of the Organizer as highlighted in the attached screenshot, organizer is still working on generating the thumbnails.
