I just downloaded Elements. I have a shoot of 675 photos I want to select about 20 in 6 groups, do some basic crops and end up with 6 groups of 7 photos each. I started by moving 1st selects to a media bin but cannot retrieve them. Looking for best solution. Thanks

Thanks Michael, I solved the problem as you suggest by opening Albums.

Now I have another problem. When I click on edit, from the organizer, the video edit opens instead of the photo edit. Adobe does not offer any help. Any idea would be helpful.

What do you mean by the 'media bin'?

The 'Photo bin' strip on the bottom of the display in the editor shows the files that are presently opened in the editor.

If you want to group and organize your pictures, use the organizer; assign star ratings, keywords, create albums. Albums are like playlists: lists of selected file with possibly your custom sort order. They don't contain files contrary to folders, they are only lists of links to the real file location; they should help you in your organization project.
