How about opening a folder of rawfiles or jpegs, editting peace by peace, and save in one command al in one folder? My solution is to open all the files in the folder at the same time in the ACR module.
That works for raw files, but you can also open jpegs at the same time from the command 'Open in ACR'.
Once you have your batch open, you can see your vertical film strip on the left of the ACR dialog. You can either select all, select some files or single files and apply your corrections and adjustments. For instance, you can correct white balance, crop to a given ration, straighten some images etc. When you are done, you select all (Ctrl A) and simply click 'Done', which saves the edits for all files, or 'Open' which saves the edits and opens the files in the editor.
Contrary to the batch of files edited only in ACR,there is no way to save your files edited in the editor with a single command, unless you use some external script. You have to save one by one.
Generally I do work by batches of 20 to 50 files at the same time. Obviously, it's good to have enough memory.
Note that if you want jpeg versions of your edits (either in ACR or in the editor), you can use the organizer to export to new files. A single step even for hundreds of edited files.
