Does the PSE/Organizer 2018 facial recognition process run in the background if PSE is closed? I don't see any Adobe processes running in the background when I close PSE/Organizer. Am I correct in thinking that it runs only when PSE is open and running?

    Yes, you are right. Face recognition only runs when application is running. However, auto creations process will run once started with application launch and will continue to run even if you close the app.

    Thanks for the quick reply; it's as expected. However, it would be nice to have it run in background with adjustable resource impact.  It's no big deal I suppose; I can just let it run overnight. When you have 25,000 photos it takes a while.
