Trying to reinstall photoshop elements Premier 12 after computer crash

Recently had to get new computer.  I previously had Photoshop elements 12 and premier elements 12 installed on old computer  Technician installed elements for me and now I have problem trying to install premier elements 12  Managed to obtain serial number OK downloaded first file and got the message

Adobe acrobat reader could not open Premier elements 12 65 win.. because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged for example it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded 

What do I do now please?
