Turning off the annoying size info when using the marquee tool

How do you turn this off-or can you? I've checked in preferences and everywhere and can't figure out if it can even be done. It's REALLY annoying.

Unfortunately, in photoshop elements that can't be turned off.

Adobe calls them On-image displays or Heads-up displays.
