Unable to backup my catalog.

I have adobe Elemet organiser 2020, 26000 photos & videos. Windows 10.. I7 Laptop, lots of drive space.

Have tried severl times to backup my catalog, it gets as far as " Please wait while elements organiser prepares for backup" It then does nothing.. I have left it for hours.. When i select CNT ALT DEL tells me elemnts not reponding..

Have unplucced all USB hubs, cleaned computer and restarted.. Nothing.. Tried optimizing and reparing.. Nothing it just hangs. Made another database and imporrted some pictures.. works fime and saves fine.

My database works and has no unlnked photos or videos..

Any help would be appreciated? I neend to back it up at some point.
