While using Elements 13, the program will stop working. Dell says my xps doesn't support windows 10. Is that the issue?

While using Elements 13, the program stops working and nothing is saved. dell support says my 7 yr old XPs doesn't support windows10 I have loaded. Do I need to return to Windows 7?
