audio synchronization

I transfer my videos to the sequence by taking sections from the preview panel. But when I do it this way, I cannot synchronize my other audio recording. If I synchronize all the clips to the sequence, the frequency becomes very crowded and the editing time becomes very long. Is there a practical method for this? Can I synchronize the sounds without transferring them to the sequence or can I synchronize the sounds to the videos I edit later?
