Auto Reframe as a Source Clip effect doesn’t ripple to Sequences of different sizes

I'll start off by saying I'm not sure whether this behaviour is intended due to the nature of the effect.
 When applying Auto Reframe to a Source Clip, the other Sequences which include instances of said clip do not automatically adjust to their respective size/dimensions. In fact, the reframe only seems to happen to the newest Sequence that I created. Normal?

To reproduce, have two sequences at different sizes, drag the same clip onto both timelines then apply the Auto Reframe effect to the Source clip
