Question

can open a project from Premiere 2022 and save in Premiere2023, but if I create a new project...

and try importing either the 2022 project or the 2023 project I get an error message (see attached screen grab).  Having all sorts of issues and wondering if this particular error is a manifestation of some underlying issue... And fwiw, I just reset preferences and reset caches and then tried importing (which took a lot longer) and got the same error.

this was  from the job from hell where the client had named files and folders with dates using forward slashes that caused intermittent issues...  When I pointed out the problem (and its root) he fired me...  I'm pretty sure there was another thread that followed that particular unpleasant adventure...   In the trouble shooting process I think I opened the projects on my home computer without the media, and then did a save as which allowed him to get back to work...
