captions from dialogue in .txt file

I'm trying to import a .txt file with dialogue into premiere, but I'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly. I want each line of the text to appear as a separate caption block that I can drag onto the timeline, as the video doesn't have audio. Do I need to manually create a caption for each sentence, or is there an easier way to do this?
