Editing 60fps 25p Videos problem (time remapping ruins keyframe positions/scales)

Hi,

I shot some clips with my new GH5 in 4K 8Bit with 60fps 25p. So they are already in slowmotion in the file.

Now I try to edit a movie out of the material where I speed up some parts or use the slowmotion of the files. That alone works fine.

The real issue comes when I try to zoom or make a movement while having time remapping active. When I try to use keyframes they are not working as intended. They seem to be delayed and happen not as shown on timeline. I know its related to the clips being already slowed.

I tryed to interpret the material as 60fps and time interpolation optical flow - nothing worked.

I know now that I probably shouldn't capture it in 60fps 25p but how can I use what I have now?

It would be so nice if someone has a solution to this.

Thanks.

Correct answer Ann Bens

So to make thinks more clear what I did:

and:

So I nested the time remapped clip and edited the nestet clip but it happend again:

The Zoom (1) is happening at the mark (2). In the same way it happend before.

Dont use scale and timeremapping the same time.

Nest in between effects.

See post 2.

Dont think 60 in 25p is a smart option.

Time Remapping has the tendency to mess with other effects.  Nest the Time Remapped clip and apply the additional effects to the nest.

60fps 25p

Its either 60 per second or 25 frames per second, cannot be both.

Post screenshot of a clip in MediaInfo in tree view here on the forum.

Do as Jim says btw is your timeline set to 25p?

If you are in a PAL setting use PAL framerate.

Dont know is that is possible 60 frames in a 25p recording?
