Encoding H264 to dnxhr hd sq issue?

Hi friends. Just started encoding for post. Did a few h264 to dnxhr (not sure specific settings) and the 4k footage came out with correct anchor point of 1920x1080. I took a break came back and just exported 4k footage to dnxhr hd sq and the file came out with a anchor point slightly bigger than 1920×1080. I am worried I messed something up and the files I just made are not 4k res and therfor the anchor point is different. Any ideas how the unmoved anchor point might be slightly off?

    If you can share your sequence setting and export setting that's will be very helpful to determine the issue. 


    Ah sorry I figured it out, for some reason the encode has 4096 pixels instead of 3840. I think I can get it from here by changing encode settings. Thanks for all your time.

      Hi @Lokister 

       

      First i would check the Effect control panel for any scaling (Sometimes i dig so deep and it was right infront of me). 

       

      Then i will check the Export setting and the sequence setting that match what are you looking for. if i got it right, you are exporting a 4k footage to Full HD correct? 

       

      It will be helpful if you share your export and sequence setting

        Hi moe thanks for responding. Ya I checked scaling and it's at 100. No I'm not changing resolutions just encoded to dnxhr hd sq. It's still at 4k res for mx file but for some reason the center anchor point is slightly off when I believe for 4k the center anchor point should be 1920 1080.
