Question

ESSENTIAL SOUND vs render

Hi

 

ver. 15.4 on MacPro MOJAVE

 

I amtrying to use Ducking and it seems to work fine while in project.  However, once rendered, something weird with the sound happens:  the ducking partially works.  OR the voice is twice as low in volume.

I open the project and all seems in order:  parts designated as MUSIC properly, same for for voice - set as dialogue 

 

Do not understand what is going on.  Is this something I am doing incorrectly or it is a bug of some sort?

 

HELP!

Hello @trueRUvoice,

I saw your note. Thanks for the info. It appears that you are experiencing a bug with that version of Premiere Pro. Is it possible to update to a newer version of macOS and Premiere Pro? Otherwise, you may have to work around this issue until you can update. Sorry about that.

Thanks so much for your reply. I really appreciate it.   

Unfortunately, I am stuvck with it as my mac is very old and this version is the only one that can be installed.  Perhaps in the future.

There are other things that I find buggy - in effects some of them repeat twice and only one of those doubles operational...  weird thing.

Another thing I noticed, when you use color curves in lumetry color curves, and then also use some of the looks in creativity, suddenly everything becomes really overexposed.  So, I work around this by selecting another adjustment layer just for LOOKs. 🙂

 

And markers... if I press M to set a marker, in marker list there apear several markers, and by deleting any one of those, they all disappear.

 

I don't know if anyone else has ever noticed these 🙂

    Hi,

    These sounds like bugs that have been fixed in the interim. I hope you can find some workarounds for these problems until you can update. The community should be able to assist you with these. Sorry for the issues.

    Hey trueRUvoice,

    Sorry for the poor experience. Could you let us know which version of Premiere Pro you're currently using (Help > About Premiere Pro)? Will it be possible for you to share a screen recording comparing your Premiere project and exported files? That will help us get a better understanding of the problem.

    If you carefully look at my post, you will see the answer to your question re version, etc.

    I am not following  what you want me to record?   Inside the project all is fine and working.

    But the rendered file is stragely rendered.  not the same way as it is inside the project. I am talking about the sound-music vs dialoge.
