Export 32 bit float AAF

i'm working with many hours of 32-bit float audio recorded on tentacle track-e's. after pic lock i'd like to be able to send our post house an aaf so they can bring the audio into pro tools in 32 bit-float. but premiere doesn't seem to be able to do this-- only 16 and 24 bit options.

any suggestions for workflow or any planned updates for premiere to be able to export 32 bit float aaf's? i can bounce out an xml to resolve and then resolve can do it. but that's a hassle. hoping this is already implemented in pp or in the works for an upcoming update and i don't know it.

according to @Kevin-Monahan the Adobe team is aware of this issue and is working on a solution. no timeline at the moment, but sounds like it's coming.

Does anyone here know if the Resolve workaraound actually works? I'm in the same boat here, trying to get my 32bit Float files from Premiere into Pro Tools.

When I go through Resolve the best I can seem to get is 32bit integer... No option that I can see to output in float. What am I missing?

I actually came here for the opposite of your issue. I couldn't get a film out from Resolve as a 32bit float AAF, so I was hoping Premiere could handle it. I've tried every export option in DaVinci Resolve and it always clips first in an AAF before doing anything else (levels/normalization).

I'm here for the exact same issue. Have you or anyone found a solution/workaround yet? I'm getting audible and visible clipping when importing into pro tools via AAF.

AAF does support 32bit float but Premiere can't export it at the moment.
workaround... export an XML, pull that into Resolve, export AAF from there.

thanks fir the confirmation. i already stated that workaround in my post. dealing with a complex feature length edit, i'm hoping to hear from someone at adobe to find out if they are planning to implement 32-bit float aaf export support.
