File name / metadata to automatically create title text

Hello
I have a timeline that has hundreds of photos. At the end of the timeline is a rolling title to that lists all the copyright details for each image that is in the timeline. Each time I have a recut, I have to go manually amend the order and the add / delete copyright info from the rolling title. it takes me more time amend all the copyright metadata than make the cut adjustments.
I figure that there maybe a way to automate the rolling title so that it is fed by Video Description metadata.
Any thoughts would be most welcome?
