Lagging video and media pending in the source and program monitor

Question

Hello,

I have a brand new iMac 24' 16GB version 14.2.1 and it still lags when editing videos. I don't have any other applications running in the background apart from Safari with 2 opened cards.

It starts lagging right after opening my Mac and Premiere Pro so what's the point of restarting the software?

Is it there any solution? I am frustraited. Thanks!
