Open files in updated apps

If I update my Adobe apps, will I be able to open for example Premiere Pro files that was created in Premiere Pro 2019?

Yes ... but ... the current version will need to upgrade the project file prior to working with it. You can open back through I think CS6 versions.

 

So ... I think the app says it creates a duplicate and updates that, but I always create the dup if I want to keep the original project file extant, and sick Premiere on the duped project file. Just a bit paranoid here ... 😉
