Question

Pops in audio only on exported video, not it timeline.

I have pops in my audio when I export my video. It does not appear in my timeline on Premier, nor is it a clipped audio, it also doesnt happen on the cuts. It is ramdom and changes on each export. I have looked at older posts and havent been able to figure out what is happening. It didnt show up in recent projects.

I am using a Macbook air with M2 chip.  Not sure what to try next. Thanks in advance!

Hi @Francisco5EB4,

Sorry for the issue. I had an editor tell me about a similar issue at the recent MAX conference. I hope engineering can respond to this bug ASAP.

Thanks for the screenshots. Getting stats on the source clip's properties would be helpful.

Thanks,
Kevin

Every export I make since the update installed today results in bad audio on voice overs and spoken word. Music is sharp and good but spoken text is crackling. Even old videos exported again today have the same sound issue. What to do? Need to edit 6 projects tomorrow...

You might want to upvote here too : https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-bugs/pops-in-audio-only-on-exported-video-not-it-timeline/idi-p/14146923 since it seems related. Don't hesitate to add your system's info (win/mac, which chip, which OS version…) that could help the team investigate.
Once acknowledged, it will be added to the "known issues" page and worked on in the beta for you to test.
