premiere pro 2022024 captions issue

so, i already have a saved custom track style for the captions but after updating to premiere pro 2024 (version 24.1) whenever i edit the captions (i.e cutting a word from a caption layer then pasting it in the next caption layer) that word automatically changes its color back to the default white color! and my custom caption style in the style track section gets renamed with the word (modified) in it!

this has never happened before!

i managed to reverse back to a lower update of premiere 2024 (version 24.0.3)

and checked and the word preserves all its attributes of my saved custom caption style as it always has.

so am i missing something?

if anyone knows please help!

honestly, i'm not gonna uninstall and then reinstall versions back and forth again just to get a video of the bug

my description of the bug is quite clarifying, whether it happens with another user, I'm just here to let y'all know I'm having that issue and if there's a solution for it

A screen recording would help: nothing I do gets your result.

If possible can you please attach a recording of this?

Yes, that seems wrong. My copy/paste test preserved the caption track style.

How are you cutting? In the text panel, in the program monitor, in the timeline, or in the Essential Graphics Panel?

And how pasting?
