Premiere Pro 2023 does not offer Utlrastudio as output option on MacStudio with Ventura 13.1

I have a MacStudio Max with OS Ventura 13.1 a Blackmagic Design UltraStudio and the latest (2023) Premiere Pro installed. 

 

Under Premiere Pro Settings/Playback when Mecury transmit is selected only two options appear for output - Monitor 1 (thunderbolt/usbc) and Monitor 2 (hdmi).  Each will output to their respective monitors but the UltraStudio output is not listed and nothing is displayed on it.  I have had this function working on an iMac in the past and with Adobe products on the PC but I cannot  get it working in my current working environment (MacStudio).

 

I have tried both installing Premier Pro first followed by the Black Magic desktop software and having the Black Magic software installed follwoed by Premiere Pro.

    Thanks for the message. It’s been a long time since you filed this bug. I apologize for the lack of a response. Are you still having this issue? If so, the team will need more info from you to reproduce the bug. Can you provide the information required here? How do I write a bug report?

    I did have an additional issue, which I believe is related, and that is I was getting a 'pink screen' crash in Resolve.  I ultimately traced the problem to the fact that I would get this crash after having worked in Premiere.  I believe that premiere was not releasing control over the HDMI output of the Mac, even when closed, and that this created a conflict when working in Resolve that would lead to a 'pink screen' crash - a sign of hardware problems.

    Thanks Neil,

     

    I am hoping that by posting this as a 'bug' an Adobe programmer may come across this and see that it is an issue that can be solved at the programming end.  Premiere simply doesn't see the UltraStudio as an output option.
