Premiere Pro won't open

After downloading Premiere, I tried to open it and it would crash immediately. I tried to run a diagonostic on it and it tells me to update Premiere to its latest version. When I check to see if there are any updates, it says that is in its latest version. What do I do?

I have the latest 24.6 (I believe is the number, regardless it's the most recent) version of premier.
