One Drive is grand for backup but not for editing.

Use a dedicated folder for video.

 

Make sure Default Input in the Audio Hardware in the Preferences is set to No Input.

Many users are having issues with VFR. If the file is variable frame rate, use Handbrake to convert to constant frame rate:

Shutter Encoder may also be used to convert to Constant Frame Rate:

thank you, putting default input as no input in audio hardware fixed it
