Problem with synchronization from 2 cameras

how to sync audio. I edit a fishing show with multiple camera. The best way is to find a word or sound on the audio track. Zoom into the time line and mark the track at the begining of the word using the wave form view on the audio track.  Find the same word on the second camera in the source monitor. mark in at the beginning of the word and place the second clip on the time line. Use a short section. Fine tune it on the time line then extend the clips. If audio does not work use a visual key. 

With the files in the Project tab or Bin tab, you can use the Multi-camera Editing Workflow. 

If the clips are already in the Timeline, you can synchronize clips in the Timeline panel as follows:

• Align the clips manually by dragging them into place until they are synchronized.

Or,

• Align the clips using the Synchronize function. To do so, do the following:

1. Select the clips you wish to synchronize.

2. Choose Clip > Synchronize.

The Synchronize dialog box launches. Choose from one of the following options for the point of synchronization:

• Based on the Clip Start
• Based on the Clip End
• Based on matching timecode
• Based on clip markers

3. Click OK. Your clips are now synchronized.

For better performance with AVCHD source, I usually transcode to Apple ProRes 422 LT outside of Premiere Pro using Shutter Encoder (donationware).
