Production Opening w Search Active

I'm encountering an annoyance which started sometime in the past few weeks on a long term project. When I open the production, the search field is active and empty; as it is searching for "nothing", no projects show up.

The effect is opening the production and seeing no projects displayed.

If I "x" out of the search, projects appear as expected.

Well I worried that if I said "minor annoyance" that would seem too dismissive. So we agree it's definitely annoying. I'm still looking into how it may have gotten like that inthe first place.

Hello both, yes I've tried saving once I've deleted the spaces. No effect. The next open leads to the same state.

It isn't a "major annoyance" - it's minor once I realized what was going on (a shock before that). But it is unexpected behaviour and that's why I've reported it here.

I tried that and it didn't work @R Neil Haugen
But then I wasn't able to save it with the spaces present either, so it's worth a try by RemoteI.

Maybe try deleting the two spaces, and then immediately saving the production?

We need to figure out how those spaces got saved in there and then we can probably how to save it again without them. Give me some time to work on that with some folks who developed productions. In the meantime, can you get around it by deleting the spaces? I know it's a major annoyance, but can you at least keep working that way?

R Neil Haugen,

Good guess. Yes - two spaces in the search bar.

They're persistent and they're there every time I open the production.

I'm wondering if this is because there's a 'space' or two in the Search bar? Next time, click in the bar, and hit backspace to make sure the cursor goes clear to the left.

Sometimes, if you accidentally put a space in the Search bars in Pr, this behavior happens. And of course, you can't see why, as there's no characters there, are there?
