Project audio synced on one computer but offset on another computer

Recently upgraded my computer for video editing, and imported a project file from my old computer to the new one. The edited video runs fine on the old computer, but when I open the same project on the newer computer, the audio is significantly offset, such that the project is completely ruined and I'd have to start over. Has anyone found a solution for this?
