Question about shortcut key for turning on and off blur on a mask

Hello, is there a way to map a shortcut to turn opacity off on a mask from 100 to 0 and vice versa in the "mask opacity." I literally have hundreds of places in a video that I need to to blur and unfortunately, am manually clicking and unclicking the "mask opacity" from 100 to 0 and vice versa in the five masks that I am working in, in the video.

Thanks

Hello,

Unfortunately, there isn't a direct shortcut to toggle mask opacity from 100 to 0 and vice versa in most video editing software. The only command related to opacity typically involves adding or removing video keyframes, which doesn't directly address your need.

However, there is a workaround that might streamline your process. Instead of managing opacity individually for each mask, consider consolidating all the mask shots onto one layer. Then, you can copy the attributes of that layer to all the other shots where you need the same masking applied. This way, you only need to adjust the opacity once for the entire layer, saving you time and effort.

While it's not a perfect solution, it should significantly reduce the manual clicking and unclicking you're currently experiencing across the numerous shots in your video.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions or if there's anything else I can assist you with.
