Scaling is not working in Premiere Pro 2023

Dear all,

I have an issue with Premiere Pro that my image cannot scale with an anchor point when I use the scale function. (it doesn't with when the anchor point is in the centre as well I've tested it)

I've looked through the discussion and youtube tutorial from the past regarding the same issue, the method provided were 1) changing a bit in the position with the same keyframes and 2) rendering in and out from the sequence menu. However, both methods don't work for me. I have also reinstalled premiere pro which doesn't work as well. The keyframes are linear so I don't think it's the bezier issue that the other posts mentioned.

Does anyone know if is there another way I can solve the issues?

Thank you.

Try going to Project Settings > General > then change the Renderer option.

Hi, Karen

Can you let us know info about your computer system and media? What camera shot the footage? Is it 4K?

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi Kevin,

The computer spec is MacBook Pro 2021 Apple M1 Pro with 32GB RAM.

(I checked my Video Rendering and Playback setting the Renderer is in Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (Metal) which is recommended by another post with the same issue. However, this box is greyed out so I'm not sure if it affects)

The footage I am using is a rendered 3D modelling animation using Cinema 3D + Redshift. It is in 1920x1080 300dpi resolution.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.
