Slow Video Preview Rendering Performance - Large Proxy Files - Help With Workflow

It's so crazy how this is supposed to be a professional editing software but its so buggy and slow.  You basically have to have a $10k pc.  I'm running on 48gbs of ram, 12gbs of Vram, SSD, And an i7 but i still cant improve render speeds.  I cant add certain presets and graphics templates without taking 5mins to render a 12 frame transition because i cant just simply drag and drop to view.  It takes up so much space when using proxies.  It's just unbelievable how long this software has been in the industry and still isn't a stable and compatible software.  Davinci never gave me a problem, neither has final cut.  Even professionals have problems with your software crashing so often.  PLEASE FIX YOUR SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS!!!

If so, the team will need more information from you to reproduce the bug. Can you provide the information required here? How do I write a bug report?

    Hmmm.... you seem so experienced with the other softwares, indeed why do you persist? And "I7" has been around for 14 years, so that description doesn't help much, unless it's a 2009 CPU?

     

    Only 1 SSD?
