Question

Some records have lags

Hello, I would like to contact you regarding an issue within Premiere Pro. I use the My Asus program to transfer files/videos/photos from the phone to the PC and vice versa, I have the following problem: I transfer the recording (already trimmed on the phone) from the phone to the laptop using this My Asus program, after which I add to the montage and there, I already have a recording with micro lags playing in the preview, but there is not a single lag in the recording, although before that everything was ok - for the last six months, I cut the beginning/end of the recording in the phone, after which I transferred it to the laptop, where everything played fine in the editing, and now only those records that I do not shorten in the phone are played without lags. What could be the problem?

What are the complete computer specs, including hard drives (how many, what kind, what is on each, what capacity, and how full)?

If NVIDIA graphics, make sure to use the latest Studio Driver from NVIDIA (NOT the Game Driver).

Please use the free MediaInfo and post a screenshot of the properties of your media in tree view:

Many users are having issues with VFR. If the file is variable frame rate, use Handbrake to convert to constant frame rate before importing into Premiere Pro:

Here is a tutorial:

Shutter Encoder may also be used to convert to Constant Frame Rate:

just a heads up, shutter encoder allows you to convert directly to a "mezzanine" format like prores which in my opinion, is a much better format than what's possible with handbrake.

I've moved your post from Using the Community to Premiere Pro for you.
