Vertical numbers showing in Program Monitor

Hello! I would appreciate some help with this. I'm a student. Earlier today I cleared all my Cache Media. Restarted my MAC. Returned to PP. It wouldn't open. Uninstalled the app, but really the software repaired itself. Found my file, in TRASH. Opened and resaved. Only to find these weird vertical numbers in my Source Monitor. Also, I did toggle under the "wrench" today and likely checked something that inadvertently placed these numbers in the source monitor. I just want to get these off my source monitor ASAP! This program drive me insane sometimes. Help, please, somebody help! (See attached screen shot)
