why default cross-fades?

I imported a project to the timeline, and while viewing all the parts, they cross-fade?  Why?  how?  I dont want that.  Never happened on import before.

 

PPRO V= 24.4.1

    Hi @Steve Zeeeee,

    Thanks for the post. Did you use the Clip > Automate to Sequence command, perhaps? It sounds like it. I hope we can help you figure out what occurred. Any other info?

    I used whatever came with the program.  I dont know where that is.  It's been normal prior.?

    Why would it SUDDENLY automate to sequence with dissolves?

    I have never had any auto dissolves applies ever, including the new version.

    A screen shot of your timeline panel with the tracks large enough to see them clearly would be very useful. Drag/drop onto the text reply area, and it shows in this text area without the need to click on it to appear elsewhere.
