Acrobat DC repeatedly asks for sign-in

I have switched off Creative Cloud.  We never use, we keep all work related files in the same Cloud Store and Acrobat infuses everything including Outlook with its unwanted Cloud add-on which is extremely irritating.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled it but each day when I open a pdf file on the web it demands a sign-in.  The browser we use is Brave and most all of the tracking and cookie rubbish is blocked or deleted when the browser is closed and we use a DNS that blocks tracking.  We have nothing to hide but unwanted advertising is not what we expect to have to suffer.

Acrobat DC is not cheap.  All we ask for is an install process that is not constantly checking back.  Much of the other software we use doesn't do that and Acrobat which we have used for 20+ years never did.  All you had to do was to login and release the licence if you wanted to load it on a replacement PC

The new subscription model has replaced the perpetual licence model a few years ago now.
