Acrobat goes black on laptop when laptop is plugged into an external monitor?

I recently bought a new monitor and also recently had to reinstall Adobe Acrobat onto my computer and reinstalling Acrobat seems to have introduced all kinds of bugs. In this case, Acrobat will show PDFs while not plugged into an external monitor, but as soon as it's plugged into a monitor the window for Acrobat goes black and will only display on the external monitor. Has anyone seen this happen before?

    Hope you are doing well and sorrt for the delay.

     

    If you are still experiencing this issue, would you mind sharing the screenshot or a small video recording of the issue for more clarity?

     

    What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 23.08.20555 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
     
    Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.
