Dell Inspiron Laptop - Windows 11 Home version 22H2, Build 22621.2134

Acrobat DC Pro version 2023-003-20269 64-bit

I am attempting to add a video to my pdf document.

I select "Tools", "Rich Media".  I click on "Add Video" and with the exception of Add Video turning blue when I click on it there is no response.

This is true for all the Rich Media options except for the Button option.

I have accomplished the following in accordance with various things I've read on the internet:

1.  Checked for updates

2.  Repaired the installation

3.  Restarted after repair (numerous times)

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but it doesn't seem to work.

Thank you for any assistance or suggestions.

Hi @L1011driver

Sorry to hear about the trouble caused, and thanks for sharing the steps performed.

Is this a specific file or video causing trouble after adding it?

Please try a few more steps to see if that helps.

1- Navigate to Acrobat>Menu>Preferences>Multimedia

2- Prefernces> Multimedia (legacy)

3- Similarly Prefernces> Multimedia Trust (Legacy)>Allow multimedia operations> OK

If all the settings are in their place, then

Navigate to Acrobat> Menu>Preferences (Ctrl+K)>Security (Enhanced)>disable "Protected Mode at Start-up," "Protected View," and "Enhanced Security">OK>close and reopen Acrobat. [Windows only]

Note: these changes are only for testing purposes. Once tested, please change it back to the previous setting.

If it still doesn't help, then please share the file with us.

Thanks,

Akanchha
